Maura Cockey

Maura Cockey is the Director of Finance at Hassett & George. Ms. Cockey is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day accounting operations. She handles accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepares financial statements, and oversees the billing process from beginning to end.

Ms. Cockey has a strong financial background. She has experience preparing individual, estate and partnership tax returns, bank reconciliations, and financial statements. Before joining Hassett & George, Ms. Cockey spent 18 years at Susman, Duffy & Segaloff, first as the Accounting Supervisor and then as the Legal Administrator. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

Ms. Cockey serves as the President-Elect of the Association of Legal Administrators, Nutmeg Chapter, an organization for which she previously served as Treasurer. She is Past President of the Nutmeg Curling Club and a former member and Commissioner of the City of Milford Ethics Commission.
