Forrest A. Noirot
Forrest Noirot is a litigator at Hassett & George whose practice focuses on commercial litigation, tort matters, and complex civil disputes in both state and federal courts. He began his career with the firm as a law clerk prior to his admission to the bar and has continued to build his litigation practice as a full-time attorney.
Forrest represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. His practice is focused primarily on commercial litigation and tort matters, including personal injury and insurance defense. He regularly handles disputes involving home improvement contractors, representing both contractors and homeowners in contract, payment, and workmanship claims. His experience advocating on both sides of these matters provides him with practical insight into the legal, financial, and business considerations that often shape effective litigation strategy and successful resolution.
In addition to his commercial and tort practice, Forrest has worked on a variety of land use matters including the successful appeal at the trial court level of a municipality’s decision to prohibit landlords from offering residential properties for short-term rental on Airbnb. He has also contributed to tax appeals and other land use proceedings, further broadening his experience in complex regulatory and property-related disputes.
In his early years of practice, Forrest has already been involved in several significant and high-stakes matters. He served as a key member of the litigation team in a federal civil rights case that resulted in a $1,350,000 award for the firm’s client. He also secured his first jury verdict, marking an important milestone in his courtroom experience. Forrest is known for his thorough preparation, strong research and writing skills, and steady courtroom presence.
